In these last 6 months that we've had the twins in our lives, we experienced so many new things. The main thing is experiencing what it is to be parents. It is truly the best feeling in the world. I love to see their faces for the first time either in the morning or when I get home from work. They are just so happy to see me! Just that alone always makes my day!
These little ones, always seize to amaze me! Each day there is something new. It's either something that Lexy has learned, or something that Randy has learned, or something they have learned together. Just recently they have really enjoyed looking at each other and playing with each other. They love to have tummy time in front of each other. Except it doesn't last too long because before you know it Lexy starts rolling over or scooting all over the place. She is my ball of energy. She can't stand to be in one place for more than a minute. It's too funny to watch her. What's really funny is that when Randy and Lexy are in front of each other they instantly start giggling. It is so cute. Then you see Lexy reaching over to touch her brother's face and then she notices his shooshoo (binky in Portuguese). Next thing you know she's grabbing for it and brother realizes it and starts crying. Poor Randy, he's already getting picked on by his little sister. He's just so easy going and enjoys just relaxing and having fun. But Lexy on the other hand, loves to be all over the place and loves to grab things. It's so fun to watch.
I can't believe how much they have changed and how much they learn to do in just 6 months. Each day brings a new adventure. Here are some pictures and videos of things the twins have been doing and places they have been going...

Just recently we started trying out new foods with Randy and Lexy. This week they have tried squash, carrots, peas, bananas, and apples. They have really enjoyed all of it! I have also had them try out some finger foods. The have tried little apple pinwheels and veggie sticks. They love them too and have so much fun holding their own food and eating it all by themselves.

Randy loves his jumparoo!! He can spend ours in it. On this day he had so much fun in it and wore himself out, big time. To the point that he fell asleep in it. Too Cute! After mommy took the picture, I picked him up and put him is his crib and he took a 2 1/2 hour nap! (Monday, March 14, 2011)
Lexy had fun in her jumparoo too! After brother fell asleep, she also got tired and wanted nigh nigh time. So mommy put her in her crib and she took a 2 hour nap!!
(Them both sleeping at the same time... very rarely happens.
But they did this day and had long naps and were very happy babies when they woke up.)
