Since 4th of July is Daddy's favorite holiday and it was going to be Randy and Lexy's first 4th, we decided to do something special. We decided to do a 4th of July party here at the house. We invited family and friends over for a BBQ and fireworks!!
Before we started the BBQ, Randy and Lexy and their cousins played in the backyard in their little kiddie pool while the older ones played on the slip-n-slide.

My handsome boy!!! Happy 1st 4th of July!!!
Since it was Randy, Lexy, and Maclane's first 4th of July, my sister and God mother got together and made outfits for the kids to wear. My Godmother made the skirts for the girls, I ironed-on the stars on their shirts, and my sister made them beautiful bows and adorable flip flops with bows!!!
Michelle and Lexy wearing their matching outfits!!
And as for the boys, we found them all matching outfits too!!! They all looked so handsome in their red, white, and blue!!!

All five grandbabies!!! Talk about tough to get a good picture. 3 babies, a 6 year old, and 4 year old! Yikes!! But at least this one came out nice!
After the BBQ, we started the fireworks. Randy and Lexy did better than I thought. They both loved watching the colors, but as soon as the noise, pops, whistles started they both got scared. Lexy got so scared that she had to watch most of the fireworks with Avo through the upstairs window! Randy stayed outside the entire time!

All in all, I think it was a very nice 4th of July and I love the fact that I have babies of my own to share holidays with. It seriously makes holidays so much more fun and memorable. Looking forward to next years 4th of July and all the holidays to come before than!
