This year was a fun and exciting thanksgiving!! Even though this wasn't the twin's first thanksgiving, last year they were so small that they were probably either sleeping or crying due to colic or gas :(. This year was a very memorable year! Randy and Lexy got to join us at the dinner table and eat what we were eating!! :-)
They loved the turkey, ham, corn and sweet potatoes (randy did) but weren't huge fans of the mashed potatoes. It was a lot of fun! I really enjoyed it and am really looking forward to Christmas!!!

Tutus and Tractors 1st Birthday Party!!
Happy 1st Birthday Babies!!!
For Randy and Lexy's 1st birthday, I wanted to make it very special and very memorable! I know they won't remeber anything about it, but that's why I took lots and lots of pictures, but I still wanted it to be fun and unique!! For the theme I wanted to do something that fit both boy and girl, which can get pretty hard, but with the help of my bestie we came up with the theme of Tutus and Tractors!!! The colors I used were pink and green and decortated with lots of froo froo tutus and tractors!! :-) Their birthday party was on September 4th at the 1st Southern baptist Church Social hall. It was very nice to be able to have it indoors because it was so hot. And that way Randy and Lexy could run around and have fun too! Here are some pictures that were taken at their birthday party!! It was so much fun and I thank everybody who helped with putting it on, who helped decorate, clean up, and all who went!!! This will be a day that I remember for always!!

Happy Birthday babies!!!
(sorry it's a little late, again, but my motto is better late than ever!! )
Wow, I can't believe that my babies are a year old!! It's crazy to think that they've been with us for that long, but at the same time it seems like they've always been with us! This year, I would have to say, has been that best year of my life. My life was not complete until I became a mom! Being a mom is the best feeling in the world!! I am so blessed to have Randy and Lexy in my life. God has truely blessed Brandon and I and we thank him every day for it! :-)

Happy Birthday to my babies!! 9-8-11 (Mommy had to get in on the picture with the twins!)
Happy 1st Birthday Lexy!!! 9-8-11
This month has been a very busy month for Lexy!! For starters at her 1 year dr. appt. her stats are as follows: 20 lbs 5 oz and 28 1/4 inches long! She's my little one!! She's so active that it doesn't surprise me. Right before she turned a year old I have been trying to switch her over to whole milk. She wants nothing to do with it. So each weekend I continue to try and hope that one day she decides that she wants it. In the mean time, the dr said to just give her cheese and yogurts to supplement the whole milk, but she is still on formula. And because of her tummy problems, she's still on Nuetramagen. Besides that she has been trying new and intersting foods! I have come to find out she is definitely her mothers daughter... she is a texture girl. She has a difficult time with different textures of food. Hopefully she'll eventually grow out of it, but if she's anything like me, she wont. LOL. Lexy is all over the place. This little girl has been walking since about 9 months and has been non stop since then. Oh wait, did I say since she's been walking... let me take that back, she's been all over the place since she started crawling! :-) Her favorite thing to do now is to try to climb onto the couch. She succeeds most of the time, but I have learned that if I put a pair of socks on her, she is not as successful. And lets just say, she doesn't get very happy about it! She has got the spunkiest personality!! She's so funny and loves to make you laugh. If she doesn't it once and gets a reaction from you she just keeps going. Oh, yes, and I can't forget she LOVES to talk!!! LOVES LOVES LOVES to talk!! It's mostly jibber jabbers but she now knows how to say Daddy (her first word), Doggy, Bubba, and a few other words she can kind of say in Portugese! (Yes, we are teaching them Portuguese. And thanks to the help of our sitter, Christina and my mom, they seem to be catching on real well!)
Happy 1st Birthday Randy!!!
This month has also been very busy for Randy!! His stats are as follows for his 1 year dr. appt. : 24 lbs and 31 1/3 inches long!! He's my big little man!!! He's measuring just appove the 50th percentile for his age!! Brandon is hoping for a 6 footer!! LOL!! :-) We'll see!! haha! Anything is possible!! This month we started him on whole milk about a week before he turned a year old! He loves its!! it was very easy to switch him over. Fortunately no reactions to the milk. And by the looks of it he likes it even more than he liked his formula!! He also has been trying lots of different foods. On his birthday he got to try steak for the first time and loved it!! (Gonna take after daddy!!) He loves food!! He's really good about still letting me feed him, unlike Lexy, but he does like to feed himself. He's my calm, relaxed little man that loves to play with things that have music and lights!! He's content playing with his toys, until sister takes them away. His favorite things to play with right now are the little push carts, and his little quads he got for his birthday! He has started to show signs of wanting to walk!! YAAAYY!!! (what am I going to do when he decides he wants to walk and I have two that are walking? YIKES!! lol) He doesn't talk as much as Lexy, but he can say mama, dada, and has started saying Daddy! (his first word) He loves getting attention!! He has the best smile I've seen on anyone (in my opinion, but thats becasue I'm mommy!! :-) His smile just melts my heart. It just seems so sincere when he does it and when he does it's like he's ginning from ear to ear!!
God had truely blessed our family!!! I love my little family!! This year has been filled with so many memories that will be in my heart forever!! It's amazing to think that a year ago I brough home my baby boy weighing 6 lbs 5 oz and my baby girl weighing 6 lbs 12 oz and a year later they are both over 20 lbs!! They grow so fast and learn so much in a year! I am so proud of my babies in all that they have accomplished in their first year!! They are my life!! Mommy and Daddy love you Randy and Lexy!!! And look forward to see what your second year of life brings you!!!

11 Months (Better late than never!) :-)
Well, I know I'm a bit late for posting on their 11 months, since they are already a year old, but here goes anyway! :-)
This was a fun month for me because I was home with my babies for the summer! We didn't do much, but I would definitely have to say this was the best summer I've ever had. For the most part we stayed home, and occasionally went out to go shopping or just get out of the house. But we did take the twins on their first trip to Monterey. It was only a day trip but it was nice! :-)

Randy, 11 Months! My big boy!! :-)
This month Randy has officially started crawling "the right way" as you might call it. He's been crawling for awhile now, but he would do the army crawl. And then one day out of the blue he decided to crawl the "normal way". And now that he knows how, man is he fast! :-) This month he has found a new love. He loves to play on those riding cars and loves pushing himself around in them. And sometimes he'll lift the front and we call him "Hercules" and he gets a kick out of it! :-) He also loves things that play music and things that light up. Randy has become a smiling boy!!! It used to be so hard to get my boy to smile, but now he's all smiles!! And in my opinion I would definitely have to say he has a smile that will melt your heart, well at least for me it does! :-) This month he has also learned how to really clap instead of bang on something thinking it's his way of clapping and he has also learned how to wave bye-bye and hello! But his way is just to raise his hand up in the air and that's it! He's so cute when he does it!!! :-)
My babies are 11 months old!!!
Lexy, 11 months old! My princess!!
Lexy, is Lexy!! :-) What I mean by that is she is non-stop and always on the go. She's been walking since she was 9 1/2 months old, but this month she has learned how to run!!! That girl can move!!!! She has got a few more teeth this month. And she loves showing off her pearly whites! :-) She's learned how to say Daddy, and she says is so clearly!! Her favorite toy this month is Pinky, her mini-pillow pet!! She knows exactly who he is and if you ask her to go get it, she will go and get it for you. This month, Lexy decided she didn't want to stay in her crib anymore. She decided that it was time to scare mom and dad, for the 2nd time and climb out of her crib. So mommy looked online and found what is called a crib tent, that is put in the crib and zips up so she can't get out. She's definitely a climber!! And she loves to play with Dori, our Boston Terrier!!
I cant' believe how fast my babies are growing!! Time has flown so fast this last year that I've had them. It's crazy!!! These have definitely been the best days of my life!! In the next post I will share some pictures of the twins first trip to Monterey and also a photo shoot that Jaymie Hormel did!! BEAUTIFUL PICTURES!!!
Hope you enjoyed the post for 11 months. Sorry it's so late. I hope not to let time get by so fast before posting the twins 12 months and their 1st birthday!!! :-)

Twins 1st Fourth of July!!
Since 4th of July is Daddy's favorite holiday and it was going to be Randy and Lexy's first 4th, we decided to do something special. We decided to do a 4th of July party here at the house. We invited family and friends over for a BBQ and fireworks!!
Before we started the BBQ, Randy and Lexy and their cousins played in the backyard in their little kiddie pool while the older ones played on the slip-n-slide.
Maclane and Randy playing in the pool!! :)
My Lexy girl posing for the camera! Happy 1st 4th of July!!
She loves playing in the kiddie pool and walks all around it. This girl has no fear.
Cousins having Fun!!
My handsome boy!!! Happy 1st 4th of July!!!
Since it was Randy, Lexy, and Maclane's first 4th of July, my sister and God mother got together and made outfits for the kids to wear. My Godmother made the skirts for the girls, I ironed-on the stars on their shirts, and my sister made them beautiful bows and adorable flip flops with bows!!!
Michelle and Lexy wearing their matching outfits!!
And as for the boys, we found them all matching outfits too!!! They all looked so handsome in their red, white, and blue!!!
Randy, Mikey, and Maclane styling in their 4th of July best!
All five grandbabies!!! Talk about tough to get a good picture. 3 babies, a 6 year old, and 4 year old! Yikes!! But at least this one came out nice!
After the BBQ, we started the fireworks. Randy and Lexy did better than I thought. They both loved watching the colors, but as soon as the noise, pops, whistles started they both got scared. Lexy got so scared that she had to watch most of the fireworks with Avo through the upstairs window! Randy stayed outside the entire time!
Randy watching fireworks for the first time!
Lexy watching fireworks for the first time.
All in all, I think it was a very nice 4th of July and I love the fact that I have babies of my own to share holidays with. It seriously makes holidays so much more fun and memorable. Looking forward to next years 4th of July and all the holidays to come before than!
10 Months Old!!!
Oh my!!! I can't believe that my babies are 10 months old!!! We've already started thinking about what we are going to do for their 1 year birthday! Wow, my babies are almost a year old. That is just crazy to think. It does not feel like they have been in our lives that long, but then at the same time, there's no way I can picture how our lives were without them.
Every day brings new and exciting things to the Belt house. The biggest thing that happened to us this month was that Lexy started walking!! Crazy, 9 1/2 months old, and she's walking!! It's so cute because she looks to little to be walking. :-) But man does she move and cruise!!! And for Randy, he's made some huge jumps in what he does too! He's now able to pull himself up to his feet from his tummy!! I've watched him do it onto the activity table and up to the couch! He's so cute because if he has a hard time doing it, he gets frustrated, but then when he finally gets it, he looks around to make sure somebody was watching!! He's so proud of himself!! And so are mommy and daddy!!!

Lexy, 10 Months Old!! 7-8-11
This month, Lexy, weighs right around 19 lbs! She's doing so much better about spitting up and keeping food in! She has 5 teeth!! 4 on the bottom and 1 on the top. She loves food, and I mean REAL food!! Not no baby food, except for the Gerber Fruit. :-) She grabs onto things and pulls herself up and starts walking all by herself. She's getting really good at it! She loves to climb. She's starting to be able to climb out of the excersaucer and the jumparoo... you cant put her anywhere and expect her to be there when you come back. Just the other day, she was in one of her walker-like toys and I looked down to do something and the next thing I know, she's on the ground crawling over to the hallway. And now that she's done it once, there's no stopping her now. She can also just about climb out of the play pen. She is one tough cookie!!! She says mama, dada, waves bye bye, and signals you to come to her when she wants you! Man, do we love this little girl!!!
Randy, 10 months old! 7-8-11
This month Randy weights right around 21 lbs. This little boy is solid!! :-) It's crazy to think he was the smaller one when they were born! He knows how to get around to where he wants to by army crawling. He could care less about learning how to crawl the right way! He's content on the way he gets around. :) And boy does he move! He's has learned to pull himself up to his knees and then onto his feet. He likes to do this on the activity table and stand for a good amount of time just playing with all the neat things on the table. He loves to play with things that have wheels and loves to crawl under things. My mom says he's going to be a mechanic because every time we look at him, he's under the walkers or the jumparoos. :) He says mama and dada! He loves to imitate what you do. If you smack your lips, he smacks his lips, if you squint your nose, he squints his nose! He's so cute!!! He loves to be noticed and is so proud of himself when he sees you looking at him. Gets the biggest smile on his face and just laughs! We are so proud of our little man, and love his so much!!!
Randy and Lexy, 10 months old! 7-8-11
This month they started riding on the little animal push toys. Lexy knows how to get on and off of it, but doesn't really know how to push herself on it. Randy on the other hand, knows how to push himself around on it, but doesn't know how to get on and off of it. It's so funny how different these two are!! :) Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you guys!!
Riding in their New stroller! 7/2011
This month, Mommy decided it was time to get a side-by-side stroller so we can go walks on, I call it the Disneyland Stroller!! :) I love it, and they do to!! Now, they can both face forward and look at everything!! This was a picture of our first walk with the new stroller!

9 months old!!!!
Wow!!! Could it be? My babies are 9 months old!!! It's crazy to think that they have been here with us, longer in the outside world than in the womb! Time goes by so fast!! And it seems that with each passing month it just goes by even faster then the one before!
It's amazing how much babies grow, learn, and do, in such a short amount of time. I look at the twins and think to myself, how is it that they know how to do all this stuff? It seems like only days ago they were in their boppies just laying there and now they are so independent wanting to do things all by themselves!! They are so much fun to watch. Even funnier to see their little individual personalities shine through. They may be twins, but man are they different in so many ways. I'm sure that has a lot to do with the fact they are fraternal twins, but since the day they were born they are and have been so different. From the things that they do to the bottles they drink out of, to the pacifiers they suck on. All different!!
Happy 9 months Babies!!! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you both!!!
Now for a few fun photos that I had to add!
And for some summer fun.
I bought them a little kiddie pool, which I'm excited to watch them play in. So tonight, I had daddy and avo air it up for them, and let them take a test drive the their new pool with no water in it. Hopefully tomorrow they'll get suited up and get to play in the water for the first time!! I'm so excited to see how they do. A blog for that will be posted sometime soon! :-)

Lexy, 9 month Birthday! :-)
This month for her 9 month physical and Lexy weighed in at 18 lbs 6 oz and 27 1/4 inches long.
Lexy is slowly gaining on her brother. She has been doing so much better as far as her spitting up. She still does it some, but ever since we started giving her more solids, she is doing much better. Also, doctor said she is is a little anemic (takes after mommy) so he wants her to eat more meat. This month, this little stinker has started walking on us. First she started off by standing by herself not holding on to anything. This happened for some time and each time she was able to stand longer. Then on June 12, she took her first step. It didn't get her very far, but it was her first step. Then on June 21 she took 2 steps, with no help and on June 22 she took 4 steps! So we are just waiting to see what comes next. It's so cute to watch something so little move like she moves. She loves to clap her hands and has started to wave bye-bye to people! Her favorite game is to throw things down on the ground watch them fall and wine for mommy or daddy to pick them up. (gotta love this game LOL). So we give in once maybe twice, but then, sorry Lex you don't get it any more. :-) Also, she loves to play the game of going back and forth to and from different people. She gets a kick out of it. Too cute!! She's got such a personality on her. She is such a smart little girl. Doing so much and learning so much! She is all over the place and in constant motion. Crawling, attempting to walk, and pulling herself up. Crazy little girl!!!
Randy, 9 Month Birthday!
This month for his 9 month physical, Randy weighed in at 20 lbs. 15 oz. 28 inches long.
He is growing so big and so fast!! As for everything else at the doctor's visit, everything looks great!! Doctor says he looks good! So proud of my big boy!! This month Randy has accomplished so much. We noticed that he had been fussy for awhile, which is not his usual self, and then out of now where a tooth popped out. This happened June 11. Then about a day later, another tooth broke through the surface of the gums. Poor baby boy!!! 2 teeth almost in one shot! Must have been painful. But now, he's got as many teeth as sister has and by the looks of it he may be getting his 3rd tooth before sister. :-) Along with that, Randy started really scooting around on his tummy. It's almost like an army crawl!! Yay, bubba is mobile!! He doesn't get frustrated as much any more about tummy time of the floor. Now he can look somewhere decide he wants to be there, and goes for it and gets there!! My smart little big man!! I love to just watch him on the go. He just seems so happy to be able to go where he wants to and it's funny the positions he gets himself into. For instance, for some reason he likes to crawl through the walker. Today he did that while his sister was in the walker and got stuck. Poor thing, didn't know what to do to get out, so mommy came to the rescue.
This month, now that mommy is on summer vacation, YAAAAAYYYY!!!!, we have started a new feeding time routine. When babies get up in the morning, I feed them oatmeal and fruit and then I give them a bottle of formula, which they can now hold all by themselves!! So cute!! I love to watch them. Then for lunch, grandma has been making them homemade soup. They absolutely LOVE it!!!! I tried feeding them some of the Gerber baby food, veggies, and they hated it LOL!! Too funny, I guess you get the good stuff, there's nothing else you want. So that's what they get for lunch, grandma's homemade soup and then fruit or yogurt for dessert. And then they get two more bottles before bed time. Usually at our dinner time they tend to get fussy, so we let them experiment with some of the foods we eat. Doctor said that they can eat everything we eat, except eggs, fish and our milk. They love to try new stuff, especially Lexy. She eyes food really bad. Just the other day they both tried mashed potatoes and gagged! Then Lexy tried fresh strawberries and blueberries and loved it. And just tonight they both tried spaghetti with meat sauce and liked it. Lexy seems to take regular food better than Randy does. He seems to have a problem with different types of texture. But he's a sport and likes to try everything. They have also started feeding themselves finger foods, crackers, animal cookies, etc. They love to do that! :-)
Also, this month, we decided it was time to move them into separate rooms. If I new how different they were going to be from each other, I would have started off with two different nurseries, but oh well, better late than never. So, because the nursery was in a western theme, more neutral colors and really good for a boy, we decided to keep Randy in that room. I went ahead and kept the western theme and changed it and made it a little girly, Cowgirl Princess, for Lexy. It turned out so cute. Her first night in her room was June 14 and she did great. Randy did great in his room too. They actually did so well, they both slept in until about 8:30-9 the next morning. And then naps the next day were like we'd never have them before. They each took 2 naps, and they were anywhere from 2-3 hours long!! It was AWESOME!!! Unbelievable, more like it! :-) So, now they each have their own room and occasionally like to go visit eacher other's rooms!
Now for a few fun photos that I had to add!
Lexy, hanging out in her jammies. 6-25-11
Randy, hanging out in his new motorcycle jammies, 6-25-11.
First time in a shopping cart (with the shopping cart guard, of course!) :-) She did so well!!
First time in shopping card, with cart guard too. He did pretty good, but decided he wanted out pretty early in the shopping trip.
I bought them a little kiddie pool, which I'm excited to watch them play in. So tonight, I had daddy and avo air it up for them, and let them take a test drive the their new pool with no water in it. Randy and Lexy playing together, Bella decided to get in this picture! :-)
Randy, Loving his new pool!!
All I can say to end this blog is fun fun fun!!!! These babies are my life and I can't picture my life without them. There is nothing better in life then being a mom or a dad!! We are so blessed to have these two beautiful babies who bring so much joy and happiness to our lives. Mommy and Daddy love you guys!!!
